ice warms to become
water evaporates to become
vapour condenses to become
water cools to become ice
a line is drawn in the sand
to show where the water is
a photograph is taken of the line
the work of art is hung in a gallery
a child is born on earth
matures, consumes, defecates
converses, sleeps, dreams
procreates, nurtures, dies
there is no competition
or vying for position
just infinite forms feeling
their way into the world
